Dynamo Kiev anxious to find buyer for Nigeria midfielder Yusuf Ayila

Dynamo Kiev president Igor Surkis will attempt to find a buyer for Nigeria midfielder Yusuf Ayila and two others after they were demoted to the reserves.

The Nigeria international has slipped down the pecking order at Dynamo, despite having two years left on his contract.

Sport Express Ukraine quoted Surkis as saying: "It is about Badr El Kaddouri, Stanislav Bohush and Ayila Yussuf. I will not take a penny for them: these guys at one time have done a lot for our club.

"But if they don't find clubs, they will stay in Kiev before the end of their contract, and if they are satisfied with that fate, will play for Dynamo-2 and youth team, as paradoxical as it may sound."

Ayila, 28, has spent ten seasons with the Ukrainian side.

For the past few seasons, the Nigerian has seen his first team opportunities limited at the capital club.

Ayila, who joined the Ukrainian giants in 2003 from Union Bank of Lagos, was left out of Dynamo Kiev pre-season tour of Spain.

Coach Oleh Blokhin says Ayila, who can play in defence and midfield, is not in his plans for next season.

The Ukrainian season starts in March but Ayila who played at the 2010 World Cup is desperate to quit the side.

Lukman Haruna, Taye Taiwo and Brown Ideye are the other Nigerians at the club.
