Turkish side Beşiktaş have completed the signing of Al-Sadd striker Mamadou Niang on a loan deal which will see him remain at the Istanbul club until the end of the season.
"An agreement has been reached with Al-Sadd which will see Mamadou Hamidou Niang join us [Beşiktaş] on loan involving no fees until the end of the 2012-13 season."
Niang joined Al-Sadd from Fenerbahçe for €7.5 million last season, the 33-year-old striker has scored four goals in nine games for the Qatari side.
The Senegalese striker scored 16 goals in 29 appearances for the Yellow Canaries during which time he also lifted the Turkish Super League title.
Niang had his best spells at Marseille, where he spent five seasons, scoring 71 goals in 155 games.
