Nigeria are without captain Joseph Yobo for their Group C game against Zambia in Nelspruit.
Yobo, who sustained an ankle injury against Burkina Faso, failed a late fitness test ahead of the game.
Victor Moses is in the squad to face the Chipolopolo after the winger recovered from the hamstring injury that kept him out of Monday's 1-1 draw with Burkina Faso.
Youngsters Kenneth Omeruo and Ogenyi Onazi are in the starting XI, replacing Joseph Yobo and suspended Ambrose Efe.
Omeruo will partner Oboabona in the heart of defence while Onazi will cover for right-back Ambrose after he was sent off for two bookable offences on Monday.
Nigeria XI to face Zambia:
01 Enyeama
22 Omeruo
03 Echiejile
17 Onazi
14 Obobona
11 Moses
10 Mikel
13 Ogude

09 Emenike
How they will play: Enyeama - Onazi, Omeruo, Oboabona, Echiejile - Igiebor, Mikel, Ogude - Musa, Emenike, Moses. (4-3-3)

ReplyDeleteHmmm...wahala dey!
@Olu .. but Yobo is not FxxKing fit. I was ashamed of him the way he played .. A professional trying to trap ball and it passes under his leg. Haba. this na primary school mistakes.
ReplyDelete@Kenn Onyema: Yobo is not a learner and also not a green horn in Afcon.blame da whole team,if not,we all will blamed Onazi for such a mistake, for his inexperience where experience should count.
